PPC Agency Chicago · Custom Web Development
The Chicago PPC agency that also builds the page your ads land on
Most agencies buy you a click and call it a win. We manage the Google Ads account and engineer the website it points to — because a sharp campaign aimed at a slow, vague landing page is just an expensive way to lose. Based in River North, working with companies across the country.
Sound familiar?
You’re spending on ads. You just can’t tell what you’re getting back.
Nearly every account we take over has at least two of these three problems. None of them are exotic. All of them are expensive.
The leads are junk
Form fills come in, but half are tire-kickers, out-of-market, or somebody selling you SEO. Nobody has opened the search terms report in months, so you’re quietly paying for every loose variation Google decided was close enough to your keyword.
Nothing ties spend to revenue
The dashboard says conversions are up. Sales says the phone isn’t ringing. Both are telling the truth — the account is counting form submissions, and nobody has connected what closed in your CRM back to the keyword that started it.
The website undoes the work
The ad is fine. Then it drops someone on a page that takes six seconds to load on a phone, hides the number in a footer, and opens with eleven form fields. You paid full price for that click and lost it inside three seconds.
What we do
Two services. Stronger together, perfectly fine apart.
Plenty of clients hire us for one or the other. The ones who hire us for both stop having the conversation where the ad agency blames the web team and the web team blames the ad agency.
PPC Management
Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, and paid social run by people who read the search terms report every week. We build campaigns around what you actually sell, cut the traffic that never converts, and report in dollars rather than impressions.
- Google Ads and Performance Max management
- Search term mining and negative keyword hygiene
- Call tracking and CRM-side conversion import
- Landing page testing, not just ad copy testing
- Plain-English monthly reporting you can actually use
Custom Website Development
Hand-built sites and web applications — no bloated page-builder templates. WordPress, headless front ends, Laravel, Node, Shopify. Fast on a phone, easy for your team to edit, and built so a marketing change doesn’t require a developer.
- Custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Ecommerce builds on WooCommerce and Shopify
- Web apps, portals, and internal tooling
- Core Web Vitals work on sites you already own
- Conversion-focused landing pages for paid traffic
Why us
Four things we do differently, and none of them are secrets
You can ask any agency you’re talking to about these. The answers will tell you a lot.
Flat fees, not a percentage of spend
Percentage pricing pays an agency more for talking you into a bigger budget. Ours pays us for making the budget you have work harder. You’ll know your fee before you sign, and it doesn’t move when your spend does.
Every account is in your name
Google Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, your hosting, your domain, your code repository. We work inside your accounts, not ours. If you leave, you take a complete, functioning setup with you — history included.
You talk to whoever is doing the work
No account coordinator relaying your question to a specialist you’ve never met and getting back to you Thursday. The person in your account is on the call, and they can answer why a bid changed on the spot.
Ads and site under one roof
When a landing page needs a new headline, a faster hero, or a shorter form, it gets shipped this week — not filed as a ticket with a third party who has no stake in your cost per lead.
How it goes
The first ninety days, in order
We don’t rebuild everything in week one. We fix what’s bleeding, prove it moved, then build on top of that.
STEP 01 · WEEK 1
Audit, in writing
Read-only access to your ad accounts, analytics, and site. We go through the search terms, the conversion setup, and the page speed line by line, then send back what’s broken and what it’s costing — before you’ve paid us anything.
STEP 02 · WEEKS 2–3
Fix the measurement first
Before we touch a bid, we make sure the numbers are real. Call tracking, form and phone conversions deduplicated, offline conversions imported from your CRM. Optimizing against bad data is how accounts get worse while the reports look better.
STEP 03 · WEEKS 3–6
Cut waste, then rebuild
Negative keywords, geography, device and schedule bids, budget pulled off the campaigns that never close. The savings fund the rebuild: new campaign structure, new ad copy, and landing pages written for the searches that actually convert.
STEP 04 · ONGOING
Test, report, repeat
A running queue of tests — offers, headlines, page layouts, audiences — with one clear question each. Monthly reporting in the language your board speaks: spend in, qualified leads out, what we changed, what’s next.
The market, in numbers
Why paid search gets expensive so quietly
These are published US industry figures for 2026, not our own claims. Together they explain how an account can look busy on a dashboard and still lose money every single month.

Before you call
Are we a fit? Here is how we would judge it.
Most agency websites only tell you who they want to work with. Read both columns honestly — we would rather you rule us out on this page than three months into a retainer.
We are probably right for you if…
- You are spending somewhere north of $3,000 a month on ads, or you are about to start
- You want to know your cost per booked customer, not your cost per form fill
- Someone on your side can get us CRM or closed-deal data, even messy data
- You would rather hear “this month was flat, here is why” than receive a polished deck
- You sell to customers in the United States, whether that is one metro or all fifty states
- Someone answers the phone quickly — 78% of B2B buyers purchase from whoever responds first
We are the wrong call if…
- You are shopping purely on management fee — there is always someone cheaper
- You need a guaranteed number of leads by a fixed date; nobody controls the auction
- You want one vendor to also own SEO content, PR, social, and email
- Inbound leads sit unworked for a day or two — we cannot fix that from the ad account
- You want to stay at arm’s length and just receive a monthly report
- Your budget is under about $3,000 a month — ask us about a build-and-train setup instead

Local, and not just on paper
A Chicago PPC agency that understands the market it’s bidding in
Chicago is a genuinely hard place to buy clicks. A home services company bidding in Lincoln Park is up against national aggregators with nine-figure budgets. A B2B manufacturer in the west suburbs is fighting for a few hundred searches a month where every single one matters. A downtown law firm can pay north of a hundred dollars for one click and still come out ahead — if, and only if, the intake process is right.
Those are three completely different problems, and treating them the same way is how agencies lose accounts. As a Chicago pay per click agency working across the metro and nationwide, we build the campaign around your economics: what a customer is worth, how long your sales cycle runs, and which ZIP codes you can actually service profitably.
Being here matters for the boring reasons, too. We know that a lead form submitted at 4:50 PM on a Friday in the Loop behaves differently than one at 9 AM Tuesday. We can sit in your conference room when the numbers need a real conversation. And when a client wants to walk over to River North and go through the account screen by screen, that’s a fifteen-minute walk, not a flight.

Questions we get before anyone signs anything
What does PPC management cost in Chicago?
Our management retainers generally run between $1,500 and $6,000 a month depending on how many campaigns, platforms, and markets are in play — separate from what you spend with Google. Most agencies in this city charge 10–20% of ad spend, which quietly gets more expensive every time they recommend a budget increase. We quote a flat number after the audit, and it doesn’t change because your spend did.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. We work month to month after an initial 90-day period, and that 90 days exists for a practical reason rather than a legal one: paid search needs roughly a full quarter of clean data before the changes we make can be judged fairly. After that, thirty days’ notice and we hand everything over in working order.
Who owns the Google Ads account and the website?
You do, from day one. Every ad account, analytics property, tag container, domain, and hosting login stays in your name with you as the owner and us as a user. Same with code — the site we build for you is yours, delivered with the source files. There is no scenario where leaving us means starting over.
Do you only work with businesses in Chicago?
No — roughly half our clients are outside Illinois. The office is in River North and we like meeting local clients face to face, but paid search and web development both work perfectly well over a shared screen. We run national campaigns, multi-location rollouts, and single-city accounts from the same desk.
How quickly will I see a difference?
Wasted spend usually drops within the first two weeks, because cutting bad traffic is fast. Cost per qualified lead typically starts moving in weeks four through eight. A meaningful, defensible improvement takes a quarter. Anyone promising a transformation in thirty days is either lucky or selling you something.
Can you work with our current website, or do we need a new one?
Most of the time we can work with what you have, and we’ll say so. Plenty of sites just need faster hosting, compressed images, a rewritten hero, and a shorter form to perform respectably. We only recommend a rebuild when the current site is costing you more in lost conversions than a new one would cost to build — and we’ll show you the math rather than asking you to take our word for it.

Find out what your account is actually costing you
Send us your Google Ads account or your website — whichever one is leaking more money — and we’ll come back with a short, specific list: what we’d change, in what order, and what we think it’s worth. No slide deck, no discovery call required to get it.
If we look at it and think you’re already in good hands, we’ll tell you that instead. We’d rather lose a pitch than take on work we can’t move the needle on.
- A written breakdown of wasted spend, with the search terms that caused it
- Your real cost per qualified lead — not per form fill
- Which landing pages are killing your conversion rate, and why
- Core Web Vitals and mobile speed scored against your top competitors
- A prioritized fix list you can hand to anyone — including your current agency
Turnaround is usually two to three business days. We’re at 320 W Ohio St in River North if you’d rather do it in person.
